Summary of Article

Meditation is known to increase endorphins and reduce stress hormones. It’s an especially helpful healing modality for empaths, who are deeply affected by the energy of others around them. Meditation serves as a way to recalibrate an empath’s body to a lower level of stimulation. From feelings of overwhelm to narcissistic acquaintances to stressful co-workers, empaths tend to take on their stresses plus the stresses of others, in their own body.

In this article for Yoga Journal, I share the three triggers that can lead an empath to bad coping habits, like over-eating, and simple practices to counter the stress instead.
